My journey to the keto diet.

Starting the ketogenic diet was not on purpose.

I had never heard of such a diet.  With the diagnosis of Arthritis and some research, I had tried to cut out carbohydrates.  I didn’t know that this is what the Keto diet was.  Doing more and more research keeps leading me to more and more ways to make this a sustainable way of eating.  And the benefits have been absolutely mind blowing.

What is the Ketogenic Diet?

The Ketogenic diet, a low carb diet, is basically keeping your intake of carbohydrates to less than a certain number of grams.  Like less than 20 or 50 grams of carbs per day.  This will make your body change over to burn fat instead of glucose for energy.  This is called Ketosis.  Where your body turns fat into Ketones that your body uses for fuel instead of the glucose from carbohydrates.

The benefits of going Keto are endless.

Lose Weight.

Feel Better.

Get Rid of Autoimmune Diseases.

Reduce the inflammation in your body.

You Don’t have to eat as much.

Heal Your Body.

Become much Healthier.

To Begin Keto, you know a few things.

First of all, I am going to tell you it is not going to be easy at first.  You will completely be changing your diet.  And then there will be the Keto Flu, constipation, and sugar cravings.  But you have to make up your mind and set goals to achieve this endeavor.  All the bad things that happen in the beginning will disappear.  Then the real benefits will come.
